Privacy Policy

Short version: the Pastezo app keeps your clipboard history on your computer and never sends it to us. This website collects the minimum it needs to work: anonymous visit statistics, your email if you subscribe, and order details if you buy Pro.

The Pastezo app

• Your clipboard history, pins, settings and statistics are stored only on your computer.
• Pastezo has no account and does not upload your clips.
• Once a day, when its window opens, Pastezo asks GitHub whether a new version is out. GitHub sees your IP address, as with any website request. No clipboard data is sent.
• If you use sync (Pastezo Pro, when available), your clips are sent to our servers so they can reach your other computers. This section will describe how they are stored before sync ships.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address, browser and pages viewed. You can block it with any content blocker or opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, your email address and the page you subscribed from are sent to the Pastezo team's private chat, where we keep the list of subscribers. You can ask us to delete your address at any time.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your payment and billing details; we never see your card number. Lemon Squeezy sends us your name, email, order, subscription and license status, which we store to provide Pro and support.

Hosting

Our hosting provider processes server logs (IP address, request time, page) to deliver and protect the site.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to hello@pastezo.app and we will answer within 30 days.

If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
